This website is full of gaps as I've been busy making the work. I'm still imagining a time in the not too distant future where I can spend some time representing 20 years of practice in one place.
Some images have links, come back soon, it's time

And the mineral, glistening in her protected hand, told her to give up. The power was too much and the collection would never reveal its secrets, not without extracting more and more energy from her. The carved chicken in marble form looked on whilst its chicks blissfully ignored the scenes unfolding. The material of the struggle, the body giving up again and again and again across the house.

.Work in progress on power in fictional and real worlds. Fake deaths and anthropomorphising the mineral collection as key characters.

Creative components across the building: Repair, Care, Infill. Parquet Floor Infill & Curtains. The parquet is beautiful and was restored with care by Bayanix, our contractors. The gaps revealed by over a decade of damage caused by rain were filled by new work as flooring which took the former bar, chipped it and bound it in green bio-resin by Foresso, inserted into the gaps. Three sets of curtains with patterns produced from the residue left across the building of sellotape and blu-tack marks.
Creative components across the building: Signage, roof sign, security gates, furniture on the roof terrace, a new plaque for Stephen Mooring, the building's original architect installed alongside the original plaque, colour palette and design manual, furniture selection and a Made in Thamesmead Cabinet showcasing industry that makes in the entrance - all work done as part of my role as Lead Artist on the Design Team. I'll write more on all of this soon x
Creative components across the building: Repair, Care, Infill. The Alcove Museum, built in two alcoves inside the Great Hall. Objects from the buildings past life presented alongside the story of the new works in the building. A portrait of participation - a slice of the people who were involved in the project alongside a survey of No Ball Games signs installed which were removed by me with the maintenance team when I was Artist in Residence.
Creative components across the building: Repair, Care, Infill. New tiles made in Stoke and inserted into the gaps of the damaged original quarry tiles. Including new artwork co-designed with Year 3 Primary School Children over lockdown. Activity Packs designed with Europa
